Hun, most of your fic is Dean/Jimmy, therefore, I expect lack of Cas in his angelic form... no worries. It's the stuff that says Dean/Cas and doesn't mention he's fallen or human. Saying it's Jimmy fic or 5x4 related kinda waves the red flag, therefore, isn't sneaking up on me.

I have a story that's Cas/Dean where Cas is nearly human because he's 'falling.' Now that I think about it, though, I did warn of it in the summary, so no worries.

I'm sorry people aren't putting warnings up. If it bothers you enough, maybe you should talk to the mods at deancastiel I'm sure they'll do something about it.

I'm curious, why does it bother you? Is it just not what you like and you get irritated when you find out Cas isn't all angelic?

No worries, I'm the same in my other fandom, Spander, when ppl Sanshu Spike or turn him human without telling me before hand, it's just a personal squick.
I have four big squicks-
1. Eyes- don't mess with them
2. DO NOT touch/harm the fangs/wings (unless it's for fang!sex or wing!porn)
3. No canine abuse
4. prison!fic- I've only recently discovered this squicks me big time.

Cas is an ANGEL, therefore I want him to be an angel. I don't consider it a 'happy ending' if Cas is fallen or human, even if it's his choice. Some fics end with Cas being human that I actually enjoy, but they let me know from the get go that the fic involves fallen/human!Cas, so I can read it when I'm up for it, not when I'm looking for something to cheer me up or just something to put a smile on my face. I mean when I'm looking for that and *wham* I get human/fallen!Cas, it leaves me more upset than I was before, lol.

It annoys me too man, big time. Along with a LONG list of other things lol. I'm stupidly fussy with the fic I'll read. I really dislike most AU stuff for example.

If you're looking for a Cas/Dean fic where Cas is still and Angel! and Dean is most certainly a fucktard! and that involves wing porn :P cause I think its sexy as hell lol. Then you could take a look at my story, here so far I've been told it's alright. If you've already been reading it then ignore me lol. Or tell me what you think, either way :P

Trust me the list of things I can get picky about can be very, very long, lol. Just the four I listed in the previous comment are the things that will automatically make me scream and run without a second glance.

Ohhh, I've seen that one around, but haven't read it yet- I tend to avoid WIPs until they're finished. Too much time in the Spander world where things die in the middle and never get completed, I learnt to be hesitant about such things, lol. But I'm always willing to make exceptions... especially when they include wing!porn!!!

There will never be enough wing!porn in the world. It's just one of those facts that we must learn to deal with and try in vain to rectify. :P

lol, yeah I get that, but if it makes you feel any better, its a WIP that is finished lol. As in it's totally written, just posting up one chapter at a time! So as not to overwhelm folks with the awesomeness... *is not conceeded at all...* :P lol
