[Here is the dreaded Ace, striding on to his first class. He's also rolling a small ball of fire from between and around the figners of one hand as he walks, to exercise the muscles a little. That, and he's bored, but at least he knows where he's gonig by now.]

[ Squall turns to him as the guy passes him, Lion Heart rested against his shoulder. ]

Yeah? [Oh, wait. This is... that Commander guy from the headmaster's announcement a couple of days ago.]

Unless you want the Disciplinary Committee on your case, I'd put that out. [ Nods towards the ball of fire. ]

[there before him. not lost or in need of any information. it might seem like that however, since balthier's looking around himself as if he was looking for something. or rather, waiting for someone.]

[ He looks over to the man, of course thinking he's lost. ]

By those terms, yes, I am very much lost.

[ Squall sighs quietly and brings Lion Heart up to rest against his shoulder. ] Right. And your first class is...?

[ Raises a brow, looking towards the voice. He keeps Lion Heart at his side and in hand. ] It's called doing my job.

I suggest you get some breakfast to help you wake up. You still look like death.

Probably with the guy back there who's rolling it around his fingers. [ Squall jerks a thumb off to where Ace is. And Squall is not pleased about that, but he figures just this once he can leave that to Seifer. ]

[How about just a general sense of direction in general? Hope seems to lack it, considering he's still rubbing his eyes free of sleep. Turning the corner and oops- bumping right into the Commander's stomach isn't a good way to start. Especially not with that piece of buttered toast hanging from his mouth (damn, it was hard to get used to a school schedule again).]

[ Seriously, just his luck- out of nowhere comes this shotakid with toast hanging from his chops and of course, lady luck is totally on Squall's side- have at thee, Squall, a smear of melted butter on your shirt.

Squall steps back with the impact and stares down at a head of silver hair. And then he looks to his chest as the shirt sticks to him. Insert brow twitch here. ]

(First I have to deal with guys who play with fire. Then guys walking around looking like death and giving attitude. And now a kid who can't keep food in his mouth. ...This is perfect.)

[That toast sticks to him too, sliding languidly off his stomach since it was knocked out of Hope's mouth with the collision. Empty-mouthed and jaw slightly dropped, Hope stares in horror as it slips off Squall's not-so-shiny-anymore belt buckle and onto the ground with a wet gloop sound.

Very slowly, he lifts his head.]

[Kamui was used to waking up early. It came with being in a military family. There was little time wasted as he got dressed in clothes he bought the day before, instead of his usual attire, and headed out to the cafeteria with his backpack in hand.

Thankfully he knew how to get there.

Nearly seven, Kamui noticed there were other signs of life around, as well as his roommate passing by with...fire? It looked like that other person with dark hair was talking to him about it, and Ace didn't look happy from what he heard from their conversation. But he still had his fire. Odd. He watched that mischievous grin on Ace's face as he continued on.]

Why does he still have fire? [Why does he have fire at all, really...]

I guess he didn't hear me the first time. [ Eyes follow after Ace, narrowing. ]

I doubt he would have. Isn't he on the Disciplinary Committee also? [Glances to the other, eyebrow raised.
