[Honestly, Yuna wasn't really expecting anyone to notice her-- and she certainly hadn't intended to attract anyone's attention, either. So she starts a little in surprise when Yuri stops next to her and speaks up.] Oh!

[Clasping her hands together in her lap, she attempts a wobbly smile, ducking her head a bit.] --it's really nothing, sir. I was just trying to take everything in. [Polite is Yuna's middle name, really. Especially when there are strangers involved.] I'm sorry if I disturbed you.

[She pauses at his question, glancing down at her schedule again, before looking up.] I know I'm not the only one who's here like this, so maybe I- I shouldn't be so upset. It's just... it's all a little confusing, isn't it? [She tilts her head to one side.] Did you just get here, too?

[ C.C. was just wandering around the halls herself after eating her portion of pizza before spotting the woman. Catching her words, C.C. responds. ]

[Yuna looks over, pausing a little before she nods.] Ah-- yes, the map makes it look a lot simpler than it really is. [Plus, there had been that weird machina-like directory at the front, which she hadn't understood how to use.]

[Rikku was definitely in quite a good mood. she met few interesting people, had a wonderful snack called hot-dogs, and everyone here seemed pretty friendly. Although when the Eternal Calm started, people of Spira began treating Al Bheds as equals - also thanks to Gippal starting with his Machine Faction whatever - when she was traveling across Spira, she still had trouble with connecting with people.

So, the new experiences were more than awesome. She was walking towards her room in dormitory, but since the whole Garden was so interesting, she was easily getting distracted.

She suddenly caught a glimpse of someone who looked very familiar. she quickly turned around and couldn't believe her own eyes.]

R-Rikku? [Yuna can't quite believe her eyes, either. But she hugs Rikku back, before starting to smile.] So- you got here just like I did? Does... that mean the others are here?

[Even if they aren't, Yuna is quite content with Rikku for company now.] I missed you, too. I didn't expect to after only a few hours, but...

Yes, apparently! [She sounds so happy now. Her favorite cousin is here! She sits next to Yuna, smiling widely. After Yuna's question, though, she slightly changes her expression for more serious one.] I haven't seen anybody else yet... But if we're here, I'm pretty sure they'll come soon, too!

[And then she scratches her head] What do you mean, few hours? [she giggles nervously] Call me silly, but I think I haven't visited you in Besaid for quite a while... By the way, I'm sorry about that. But now it seems we'll have lots of time together, one campus and all, right?

[Yuna's grinning, too. And Yuna's grins are reserved for extra special people, like Rikku.] Right. I'm sure, as long as we don't give up hope, they'll come too. And we can see the looks on their faces once they realise this place isn't Spira! [No one had been around to see the look on her face, but she was sure it had been pretty priceless.]

[But now Yuna's going to look slightly puzzled.] --in Besaid? No, we had gone up against Sin, Rikku. We were about to fight the Final Aeon. [Or Jecht, technically, but Yuna's not going to refer to Sir Jecht as a monster.] Are you all right? Maybe you've been affected by the toxin.

[ Squall passes by her, not bothering to stop and ask if there's anything wrong. He's more determined to get back upstairs to his room than to answer anymore questions or stop to address anymore new confused cadets. Especially after having bumped into Seifer of all people.

But ... he stops a few feet away and gives a short sigh. He turns to look at the girl, noticing that she's standing now rather than slumped with her face in her hands. ]

(Doesn't look so distressed anymore..)

[ Squall then remembers, as he approaches her, that she was one of the new cadets in the group whose face he had glanced at and thought they wouldn't make it. ]

Are you alright now?

[Yuna doesn't notice Squall the first time he walks past, being preoccupied with, y'know, depression and all. But as she gets up and decides that moping around isn't going to fix anything, she notices him coming towards her out of the corner of her eye. At first, she thinks he's just going to walk past, but when he stops and asks her if she's all right, she feels a little sheepish.]

Oh no! I'm all right, sir. Really. [She presents him with a smile, although it's probably not the most convincing one she's ever managed. Still, she doesn't exactly look like she's going to break at a moment's notice, either.] This is just- a lot to take in at once, that's all.

I guess it can be, yeah. [ He glances over her clothing and then looks away, glancing around. His eyes look back to her, straying on her face - particularly her eyes. Odd. ]

..Do you need any help?

[Yuna maintains that Rikku's eyes are weirder. :| She frowns, glancing over her schedule again, before tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.]

Hmm. I think the only thing is that I'm probably going to get lost. [...even if the layout is pretty simplistic, whatever.]
