She notices a bit of smoke coming from the last machine in the line and wonders where it was wafting from. She turns her head around the corner and comes face to face with a familiar person.]

[ Hi Shizuo. Here's Kasuka, padding out of the cafeteria with a carton of milk in each hand. Spotting Shizuo, Kasuka meanders over and silently offers one to his brother.

Now would be a good time to quit smoking, you know. ]

[He glances up just as Kasuka hands him a carton, staring at it for a moment. He scoffs a little in something akin to amusement and takes it]

Thought you were still in class.

[sedatus]

[ Kasuka shakes his head in response, offering Shizuo a straw before holding out an ashtray he produces from seemingly nowhere. Can't smoke and drink at the same time, 'niisan. ]

[violatus]

... [Sighs. Okay okay, he gets it. He puts out the cigarette in the ashtray before taking the straw and opening the carton.]
