[ Do you hear that? What, you ask?

That.

The unmistakable combination of girls giggling and gushing as they gossip to one another. The dreaded triple Gs.

Well, that'd all be coming from that group of teenage girls over there who have crowded around Kasuka while he was minding his own business, just sitting quietly in the quad. Really, all he was ( Read more... )

[ So, saying Fang doesn't quite get it is a bit of an understatement. What's one more pretty boy in this joint, when there seem to be literally dozens of them? ]

[ But curiosity and cats...and anything that can attract that many young girls is something Fang feels the need to investigate. So she approaches the flock, sliding a bit through their tightly knit skirted-barrier only on virtue of her superior height and muscle. ]

[ Well, the sudden addition of someone visibly through puberty catches Kasuka's eye, and he turns in her direction with an uncomprehending blink as she makes her way to the front of the crowd.

There are a few protests from the younger girls along the way, but most of them get intimidated and scoot off to one side, grumbling and whispering amongst themselves. ]

Not quite a damsel...but I'd say this counts as distress, ey?

[ She indicates his ever-growing groupie mob with a flick of her head. ]

So who are you?

...Kasuka.

[ He murmurs this barely audibly, blinking slowly once more at her idiom. A damsel in distress, huh...? He supposes it's a fair comparison in this situation. ]

I'm... new.

[All he wanted was to find a nice and quiet place to sit the fuck down and figure this shit out. It's been what, six years since he's been in school? Jesus, you'd think they'd give him a break. And the new place he's in (because he sure as hell knows he ain't in 'Bukuro anymore) isn't exactly helping with the confusion and oncoming headache either.

... And oh look, what's this? A crowd. Of girls. It doesn't surprise him as much when he seems them randomly crowding in public, it's happened all the time with Kasuka-]

[He's pretty sure he isn't seeing things (nevermind the fact that he's always wearing sunglasses) and... well, he was never great with crowds so. He's going to just lurk over here by this conveniently placed vending machine and. Wait until the crowd thins out before he approaches.

... Of course he has unlimited amounts of patience, what are you talking about.]

[ CISSNEI TO THE RESCUE.

Okay, maybe not right away, first she's going to go :|a at all the sweet young things bobbing about around this here homebody, trying to figure out why. He's pretty cute, yes, but that's not normally enough to... hm.

And then she catches some of the questions going his way and, aha. A celebrity. A bit of sympathy colours Cissnei's gaze as she sees that he doesn't look quite as taken with the attention, however, and she sidles up closer, frowning slightly and trying to make eye contact. ]

[ Cissnei catches Kasuka's eye easily enough, given that she isn't falling over herself or visibly trying to undress him with her eyes. He only watches her out of the corner of his eye though, appraising her as he tries to decide what she wants to do. Good Samaritan trying to rescue him? Maybe, but either way he doesn't want to turn the mob's attention on her by focusing his gaze on her directly. ]

[ When their eyes make contact, her assumption is proved correct- he's really not having fun. But in the next moment, it's no longer direct contact. Huh. Cissnei contemplated that for a second. Perhaps he doesn't want to cause undue hubbub if the girls thought she was ... drawing away his attentions.

Looking for an opening in between the girls milling around, she does a little motion with her head, a sort of nod to the side. ]

Ah, excuse me. [ Seeing the opening as well, Kasuka picks up his things and moves quickly through the crowd and for the exit, praying that the girls don't follow.

Except the one who helped him. He would like to thank her for helping, so. He waits by the exit to the quad for her, out of view of the girls but close enough for the redhead to come after him. Even if the other girls come out to investigate, Kasuka can still escape easily now that he's not cornered anymore. ]

[Well, she isn't sure what the heck is going on but if there's a crowd gathering round then something has to be up, right? So Xiaoyu tries to look over the shoulders of the gaggle of girls, but thanks to her small stature she can't really see much. Growing a bit frustrated, she decides to push her way through, and after wrestling her way through two female cadets who seemed hellbent in squishing her to death, she makes it out to the other side relatively unharmed.

Her eyes fall upon the male, and she pauses for a moment, not so much because she's dazzled by his appearance or his nonchalant attitude, but because she can't believe that the group of girls were going crazy over a single guy. She has assumed there to have been some delicious food, or maybe a cute pet! There's an unmistakable pout as she straightens herself up-- how disappointing!]

[ The other girls aren't happy that Xiaoyu forced her way to the front, though, and they begin to harass her for it. A few of them start to verbally challenge her, and another tried to shove her. That made Kasuka stand up, catching Xiaoyu by the arm. ]

Oh, you're here. [ He offered her a smile, picking up his bag as he spoke. ]

Let's go, shall we? Otherwise we're going to be late.

[ Xiaoyu, please meet Yuuhei Hanejima in his 'action' mode. Once his lines are delivered, he leads Xiaoyu out away from the mob and gets as far as the entrance to the library before releasing her. Whew, crisis averted. ]

...sorry about that.

Hey!

[Small as she may be, Xiaoyu can be a bit of a spitfire when it comes to being challenged both physically and verbally. In the corner of her mind, she can hear her old Grandpa's lectures of how her fighting skills should only be used for self defense-- and this seems to be like a perfectly applicable situation. So, she takes a step forward to the girl who had shoved her and lifts her hands into her Rain Dance stance, though the move is interrupted by the voice from behind.

A bit surprised, she immediately whirls around to face the male, and her eyes widen a bit when she realizes he had been directing those words towards her. Unfortunately, Xiaoyu is a little dense-- it takes several more moments for her to realize what exactly he was doing. Once it clicks, though, she perks up, and adopted an overenthusiastic smile; sorry Kasuka, she isn't as skilled of an actor as you are]

Oh, of course! Let's go, uh... yeah!

[Xiaoyu allows him to steer her towards the library, and once he releases her she glances up at him with a curious ( ... )

[ It's all good, Xiaoyu. Kasuka doesn't think of himself as much of a hero anyway. At her question, though, he shakes his head and shrugs his shoulders, glancing back in the direction of the quad. ]

No, not at all. [ Usually a simple 'no' would've sufficed for Kasuka, but this sort of situation calls for... more than one word. He has no idea why he was mobbed by girls who have never seen a single movie of his or heard a single song. He hasn't even been in so much as a commercial here, after all.

...honestly, he doesn't understand girls at all. But this one doesn't seem so bad. ]

[How about the appeal to a shota. Larsa can't help but notice the crowd and he grows curious, hesitantly making his way towards them and Kasuka. He pushes himself to the tips of his toes to peer around the taller people.]

Oh. I hope I am not interrupting..?

[ We love shotas. In fact, in my deep, dark headcanon, I have decided Kasuka's been in at least a few BL movies/shows/drama CDs. Nonetheless, a boy in the crowd is a bit of a rarity.

...

Hm.

Idea.

Kasuka stands, nudging apart the crowd to take the singular boy's hand. Then he switches to 'on' mode, smiling as he gazes deeply and meaningfully into the other boy's eyes. ]

No. I've been waiting for you.

[ And ah, there it is. Beautiful, predictable dead silence from the girls. ]
