[He'd hardly admit it, really, but he had developed a fondness for Aerith. It's distant, yes, but it's what he can manage being a Heartless and all. She had, after all, accepted him as individual rather quickly--something quite unexpected. So, perhaps, when she'd vanished, it had... Bothered him, more or less. So, it's back to anonymity for him.]

Her hair is brown, worn in a braid down her back. Green eyes. Kind face.

okay. i hope she's still around!

you know, it's weird, but even though we mostly want to go home it's still kind of sad when people leave. isn't it?

I have no desire to return to the few short cycles I likely have left. As well, I do not understand sadness. Is that what I am feeling and not disappointment?

Her name disappeared from her dorm room, so I think she's gone. :( Sorry, man.

She was a good person.

...This is disappointing to say the least. Thank you for the data.

Least I could do.

If you ever want to talk, let me know. She was a friend of mine too.

She wasn't my friend. I am incapable of forging those bonds. However, she did view me as an individual instead of as part of some hive mind.

[Dataku neglected to read the archive today; otherwise he might be slightly more concerned. And by 'concerned', we mean 'trying to wrap his head around Ardos caring about Aerith'. Fortunately though, he is not, and so it becomes two anons having a conversation.]

Aerith is missing?

[That's all he says. He rather liked Aerith.]

Correct. I have not seen her in a few days. It is quite unlike her.

She's probably left on a mission. Did you check in with an instructor who might know where she went?

The instructor I spoke to has stated she is no longer here, according to the missing name outside her dorm room.

I don't know this Aerith. Is she a friend of yours?

...and have you talked to an instructor?

She isn't a friend. But she viewed me as an individual.

Yes. It would seem she's gone home.

Sorry to hear that. I know how important that is to some.

It is especially important when there are multiple cases of people or things you are associated with.
