Yeah, kids aren't as horrible as I thought they would be.

What does a good guy like you do when somebody you care about leaves, though?

Well this is a military academy and not exactly a public school. Kids probably need to be a little more behaved.

Keep going. That's all you can do right? You can't just sit and assume they might come back someday.

I am not assuming they will come back. I know that's highly unlikely and even then they would probably have forgotten their time here.

it's hard, and i've been something like this before. friends leaving one by one and the point that you'll leave too, i mean.

but, it's harder than just being alone, right?

no, i've been alone before, i only had one friend and he was.... for better words, not himself and hurt me. i didn't trust anyone.

but at the end of the day, it still sucks to be alone and not trust anyone.

I'm sorry to hear that, sugar. I'm just not sure it's worth it in the end.

You close yourself off, you're closing yourself off to the good things, too. And the good things are worth it.

What's worth it? I mean, if you know everybody's going to leave.

Everyone comes into your life... just to leave. One way or the other, right? What's worth it is the good times you have when they're there.

So you're saying to do it for the memories you might get out of it?
