Katara, Zuko, and Sokka are gone. She had waited a few days to be sure, but they're gone.]

[Like Toph, Aang is upset about his friends suddenly disappearing. It's happened too many times. But at least Toph is still here, so he finds her in the quad and quietly sits down next to her.]

[Toph scoots closer.]

[Aang just glances at her dejectedly.] You're telling me.

Katara and Zuko just graduated, too. What kind of...thing makes people stay long enough for that and then takes them away?

[Lea nearly doesn't notice her on his way through the Quad, but -- belatedly -- the little huddle of Toph catches his eye. That's just wrong. Instantly concerned, he heads in her direction, stopping a couple paces away.]

Hey, Toph. What's wrong?

[And even Lea can tell. He crosses his arms.] C'mon, you look like somebody just kicked your puppy. Something happened.

Remember those friends of mine I told you about? The two who graduated? They're gone, and so's Sokka.
