He's cautious and slightly wary, but having decided to heed the note of caution in the letter, he's not about to brandish his wand like a weapon or use magic unless completely necessary

[When you went through the lobby the second time, you'll see a troll of the aquatic persuasion walking by like nothing is on his mind. As they get closer, he notes him and feels like he's seen that face before.

HE'S SO UNSURE, THOUGH. ... Maybe Harry'll notice him and try to talk or something.]

[ By notice, you mean he bumps straight into you. The course catalog and his letter falls straight to the floor and he scrambles to pick it up before glancing up with a look of apology. ]

[What is with everyone staring at him? Gosh, it's like no one's seen an alien or anything.]

Yes. I just... well, I don't know how I got here. I mean. I read the letter, I just. It's all... [ Well. If he could finish his sentence, that would be great. ]

[She's sitting in the cafeteria with her morning cup of tea, dragged out of bed despite her wishes. She really wanted to sleep into the afternoon, but considering it's her first day back, she really should make a better impression than being a shut-in.

Cassandra has a cup in hand when Harry enters and she lifts her head. The few students that are in here are easy to read for her, despite her silence. Excited chattering is a dead giveaway. Harry, though... He looks lost.

If he doesn't find a place to sit, Cassandra will lift a hand to invite him over to sit at the table she's at.]

[ Harry's looking around, trying to decide on who to approach to ask about whether or not he'll be needing money for use at the cafeteria, when he notices the girl lifting a hand at---he raises his eyebrows slightly before glancing over his shoulder.

No one there.

He heads over to the table. ]

Hi. Morning.

Just wondering... Are the food here free of charge? [ Because yes, let's not start asking about the school and the fact that he's just been brought here by time compression. Harry's just really hungry. He can't remember the last time he had a decent meal. ]

[Cass watches him move, studying how he walks without a word. He really does seem out of place and more than a little over his head. Distress, yes, but...over what?

Well, first thing's first, right? She nods.]

[She sets her tea down beside her.]

I'll... be right back. [ Because he has questions about this place, but first -- food. Harry gets a sandwich, a glass of milk and some pudding before heading back to the table. ]

[Upon entering the cafeteria, he might notice Tiana carrying several trays of food to the buffet line. On her head and arms. Balanced.

Ho-okay then. Carefully, she makes her way past him.]

'Scuse me.

[She flashes him a polite smile before setting down a tray, then another and another. Finished, the empty ones in hand, she turns back to Harry.]

Didja need something?

I was told that the meals are free in the cafeteria.

[She smiles, holding the empty trays at her side.]

Breakfast through dinner, and we also make late night meals ya'll can pick up before the kitchen closes at 2100.

[suddenly in harry's room]

[Bart is not expecting to have a roommate again, so while in his room, he can be found in the common area of the dorm speeding between areas where there is food, homework, books, and various games. He doesn't bother staying at one area for very long before allowing his attention to be caught by another one.]

[ Harry is back from his explorations and he stops at the door when he notices the figure speeding about. ]

Ack! [Bart freezes, food and comic book falling to the floor in different spots as he looks in shock at Harry.]

What are you doing here?!

I was assigned a room here. [ Takes his letter out and he reads from it. ] Your Dorm assignment is A109.

[Hermione is taking a break from the library to grab lunch. After moving through the line for a sandwich and drink, she turns to head towards an empty table when her eyes settle on Harry, freezing her in place.]

... Harry?

[She says this very tentatively; after all, Hermione has been worrying about him so much that she wouldn't be surprised if she just imagined him.]

[ He almost drops his tray when he sees her, clearly just as surprised. Carelessly, Harry puts the tray down at the nearest table; despite it being occupied, before walking over and giving her a quick hug. ]

I know it's going to be selfish of me to say this, but you don't know how glad I am that you're here.

[Thankfully Hermione has also deposited her tray as soon as she noticed Harry walking over, and she happily throws her arms around her best friend to embrace him.]

Believe me, Harry, the sentiment is returned. We've been worried sick about you since you disappeared!
