Her ears flickered up and she began to follow it till she spotted John, and padded on over to him.]

[He made room for her to sit down, shifting the clarinet off of his lap; though her question threw him for a loop.]

[He's glanced up, lips faltering on the mouthpiece of the clarinet, staring at the girl in front of him. She seems oddly familiar and yet startlingly different at the same time. Weird. He offers a toothy grin at the sight of the bass in her hands, and pats the bench space beside him.]
