This is late, so you will have to excuse me for this, but I've only recently come back, and I thought it be best to introduce myself. Some of you may know me; for those who don't, my name is Dominic Sorel, and I am the instructor for the (WTR 101) Intro to Weapons Training classes, and the (INTN 102) Intern: Piloting classes

Grrrr... Why didn't I take that stupid cart...

[A very frazzled Garden chef bursts into the Quad, arms full of boxed goods for the kitchen. Stacked high in her arms, obscuring her vision, Anemone has been relying on the help of Garden students and staff to steer her in the right directions and avoid crashing into people. Her orange sweater is already stuffy in this damn heat, and she wishes that she had worn shorts instead of long pants. She hadn't even been in the freezer storing products much longer than she thought...]

Stupid, stupid, stupid...

[Grumbling, pink ponytail bobbing, she wobbles along, like a penguin toward the waters.]

[He turns just in time to see what looked like a monster made out of boxes with a pair of skinny legs knock right into him. Of course he went sprawling, and so did the boxes; something that he immediately went to go pick up, without even looking at the person.]

I'm sorry! Hold on, let me help you with these, I didn't see you coming, are you okay?

[pilotypical]

Hey--ow ow!

[When Anemone goes scattering she goes scattering, knocked back onto her rear, and a new ache in the side of her head. She makes a growling sound, rubbing at the newly-forming bump. She's about to get to her feet and lecture the person about not looking where they're going (hypocrisy thy name is Anemone) when she hears the voice. And for a minute her heart stops.]

Dominic?

[said softly and hopefully.]

I'm very sorry.

[Says again as he goes to stand up, some of the boxes already in hand. He has to make sure he doesn't drop them when he straightens up fully, gray eyes meeting ones he didn't expect to see for a very long time, if ever again.]

Anemone? What are-- You're here?

new instructor, huh?

what happened to our old one?

They will be moving on to teaching a different class, from what I have heard.

[easilytriggered]

just like that?

you've gotta be a big shot then, kicking another guy out of his position like that.

I'm just another instructor, coming in to teach the courses I did the best in.

[Now there's a familiar face he hasn't seen in forever! Tom can't help grinning as he casually starts walking beside Dominic and attempts to swing his arm over the guy's shoulder.]

Hey! Long time no see.

[forkgoeswest]

[Oh god no, there he goes cringing under someone putting his arm over his shoulders, until he realizes who it is.]

Hey, Tom. I just got back. [Gives a small smile.]

[tinkercat]

[Still as stuffy as ever. Good to know!] Glad to see you're doing alright then. How'd your mission go?

[forkgoeswest]

It went well. [Nods, trying to relax his shoulders.]

I got a little lost coming back home.

[notaferry]

[Botan was relaxing in the Quad, giving her hand a break from grading(really, it was one of her favourite place to have a look through lessons) when she glanced up and ... was that?! Could it? It was!!!

Excitedly, she scrambled up from her seat and trotted up to behind Dominic, reaching out and giggling as she spoke.]

You're back!

[Everyone seemed to be coming up behind him today, and Dominic, to his credit, only flinched when she touched his shoulder instead of jumping like he might have, once.]

Botan?

Bingo~ You win the prize!

[And whether he wants it or not, Dominic is now getting a hug!]

[Ahhh, what do with a hug!? He tenses up, and then relaxes, enough to give a half hug back.]
