[Hope is having a good time keeping up with all his book heavy classes. And by that? I mean he's sitting with a take-out cup of tea at a table in the cafeteria two sets of books infront of him. His pad is lying open with his pen alternating between his right hand and his mouth and the page of course

['Sup, Hope. Here's your Lightning walking towards you, though she shakes her head upon seeing the ink on his forehead, and she doubles back to the counter for a water bottle and some napkins before coming over to his table.]

I don't think you want your notes on your forehead, Hope.

[With a nod, the faint smile on Light's face gets just that much wider and just a smidge prouder. Hope knows his limits.]

Take advantage of the weather while it's still good. You never know when it's going to rain around here.

Good idea. Winter might drop in at a different time here.

[Hope checks his wallet for gil.]

I still have plenty for a winter coat and stuff. And I get another payment in a few weeks anyway.

And it might hit harder than it did back home, too. [Considering she was moving a lot during the last winter, she's unsure of how a Balamb winter will go, so...it's just good to be prepared.]

You should watch some of the natives. When they start getting ready for winter, you'll know it'll be here soon.

[Explanation needed indeed, but even with that tidbit, the name is not familiar to Lightning. He must have gotten here before she got back and isn't in her class.

Either that or she's just terrible with names. Which is really the more likely option.]

[A nice way of saying he's a brat but a likeable one.]

But there haven't been many problems between the two of you?

No. There haven't been any really. There was one time when I first got there that we had an argument. But that's natural for room mates.

[Hope is confident in his ability to sate Damian.]

Yeah. Live in close quarters for a long time and even family can get into arguments. [Teeny smile. She and Serah had their share of those back in the day, actually. It had gotten tense sometimes.

Though for now, Lightning, for all her over-worrying at times, is confident that Hope can handle himself and get help if he can't. He's a smart young man, after all.]
