[Larsa's never one to stray too far from the library. He's in the booth next to Mitsuru with his own stack of books and glances over in time to catch her frowning. On a quiet murmur he initiates a whispered conversation:] Forgive me if I am bothering you, miss-- is all well?
[Mitsuru glances up from the book opened in front of her. She was half way through reading about the 'properties of para-magic when channeled through a conscious, material being' and having someone speaking cuts through that, scattering her thoughts for a moment.
Not that she's slow in gathering them all up, of course.]
"Ah, no, it's not a problem."
[Time to glance up from the book too, to make proper eye contact.]
"And yes, things are well enough. I just wanted to double check some information from classes with the library materials."
[Difficult information, her expression flickers for a moment to show that, before getting smoothed over again.]
[ Call her curious as she spots Mitsuru from another table. Of course, this curiosity gets the better of her as she passes, on her way to get yet another cup of coffee. ]
[For her part, Mitsuru is making good progress on 'Guardians and You: Learning to Love the Junction System' when she hears someone speak to her. She mentally marks down her progress, before glancing up.
And, it's to see a familiar face. She puts a polite expression on, making easy eye contact.]
"It's easy enough to integrate into an academy. Particularly when there's plenty of material to be studied."
[She taps the corner of one page as she asks, to confirm.
The next question, however...Is tricky. The Dark Hour and Persona weren't common knowledge for most people. And even after jumping worlds, Mitsuru is uncertain just how much of that she wants to disclose.]
"Most of the theory here is...Not commonly encountered where I'm from. The majority of people don't believe in things like magic, beyond a mythology to study for cultural purposes. For the most part, it's relegated to simple fantasy."
[Lessons from a certain glasses wearing nurse notwithstanding.
And with all that said, it's worth noting that she glances down at the text as she speaks, rather then making eye contact.]

[The young emperor dips his head in a small bow, his tone sincerely contrite.]

"Nothing like that; the material here is a bit different from what I'm used to studying."
[NOT difficult. She isn't going to admit that just yet, either out loud or to herself.
She inclines her head as well, to return the gesture and show some courtesy.]

[ She glances at the textbook a moment. ]
Am I right to assume these concepts of Guardian Forces and paramagic aren't native to your world?
