[The cry that came up from the guards became a scream as a rush of fire smashed against the exterior walls of Eblan, rocking the castle on its foundation. Upstairs, the Prince awoke suddenly, leaping to his feet in a flurry of sheets and pillows.]

No. This can't be --

Not again!

[One minute, he'd been walking in the Quad and now he was... standing in a crashing castle? With Edge? Tom shoots him a confused look.]

You actually know what's going on?

[All this rumbling tosses Link onto the floor, but he's soon back on his feet. Well, that's no good!

Okay, so he's been teleported and stuff, but instead of thinking too hard about it, Link decides to get straight to work. There's a shink as he pulls out the Master Sword, and starts running in a randomly chosen direction in the hopes of finding his way out towards the enemy.]

[WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE.]

[The pause, during which he's metaphorically picking his jaw up off the floor, ends when another explosion rocks the castle. Then, from down the hall, an older man and woman -- in royal garb, but designed for function as well as flash, and each of them bearing weapons -- pass by, the man stopping to speak.]

"Edge, get everyone to safety. In the caves! We will handle Rubicante."

[And if Edge had been stunned before, this shock drops him to his knees as his parents disappear.]

No --- you'll be killed--!

[Botan glanced around with an uncertain look to her face. Moments ago she was within her classroom, finishing up her last bits of lesson plans and the next thing she knew she was a few feet behind Tom, papers scattered everywhere and chaos in the air. Everything seemed on high alert.]
