the masquerade ball begins...

Oct 31, 2010 13:34

[Night has fallen on Balamb Garden; the halls of Garden are mostly deserted besides the stray student walking about, and even the usual faculty members are missing from their posts around the school. There's a certain festive energy through the air, the source coming from the eerily decorated Ballroom located on the second floor ( Read more... )

[Curtsies]

Probably because that's the point of my costume. [Yes, Grell is scrutinizing your costume] Are you paying homage to your people?

[A figure wearing a questionable costume glides into the room. Questionable because goodness, that blood on the front looks quite real.

It might just be.

Once Grell hears that song, he knew this night would be grand! And the fact that he was around when the song was made makes it even more special~!]

Ah~, the Danse Macabre. Such nostalgia! Truly, the Fates must be favoring me on the day of my birth. Now... [scans the crowd idly] What brave soul shall accompany me in a dance to the DEATH?

[And even Tobias seems drawn by the music, even if his costume is a little less than.... well, expected.

Though he always sees quite comfortable in a dress, and even went for the wig this time. So much so that it might be a little difficult to recognize him but for the red eyes.]

[Attending the party as Hush has made Damian a pretty interesting guy. He can still see through the bandages - thank god for practice with masks - as he wanders around the ballroom... almost as if he's patrolling the area.

Seems that this kid's insane no matter what he does.]

[Given Marco's Fruit hat, seashell bikini, and Grass skirt ensemble, insane seems to be the in thing to do.]

Nice music, eh? [Is Marco hula dancing? Yes, yes he is.]

[This might be the first time Damian has ever considered getting sugar-high to avoid the pain of that costume. He grimaces, though it's not visible through the bandages.]

... Yeah, I guess. Is it live?

[Yes, the GFC really have outdone themselves! Gakupo is waltzing around in this snazzy outfit, smiling at the teamwork the members put into this evening. He didn't wear the mask from earlier, but he had it in his hand, just in case.]

Whoa. Nice costume. [Marco of course, went the other route from classy to "ridiculous" and possibly "screwed in the head."]

[Not sure if Gakupo can say the same for you, buddy...

Beams at the compliment, before it faded, trying to find a proper, reciprocating statement.] Thank you! Um...you look...tropical. I suddenly have a craving for pineapples...and small umbrellas.

Obviously what the costume should inspire, eh.

As well as a fear of seashell bikinis and grass skirts on men. Now don't make me hula dance for you.
