Gotta keep my cheating strategy and baby I'm gonna have it made...
Finally got all the photos from the party finished. I let the birthday girl take most the pictures as a gift to her. (Plus adults are usually more willing at a kids party to be goofy. *grin*) Chose one image of her and Kindergoth to have printed up after manipulating it. The rest I just did basic skin touch-up, red-eye removal and teeth whitening. Just need to put them on a disk and I will be all set. I'm hoping word of mouth will open some doors, but until then, my portfolio will have to include mostly stock.
Started packing for my road-trip to Kansas to work with octopus_garden. I always wanted to be a carnie. ^_~ Is it bad that I am really.. and I mean REALLY, looking forward to the time away from Tucson? From my family? This whole 'settling down and staying in one place' has been driving me nuts. I mean.. I have never stayed in a city for more then 2 years and I have been stuck here for 7. Seven long years of rarely going anywhere because I am surrounded by desert and there is nothing to see here but cactus. The gypsy within me has been going insane. Don't get me wrong, having stability is great. I just wish I could have stability with a bit more freedom. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a beautiful traveling thing.
*sigh*
I'm going to miss my shrine... I wonder if the hotels would frown on me burning a bit of nag champa in the rooms...
