"Let's have lunch." "I'm in the middle of a shootout right now, so lunch will be kinda hard." "So then, can we have lunch after your shootout is over?"
I'm Chinese and fluent in Cantonese, remember? ^_^
Of course, I watched Asian dramas. While I was growing up, we watched a LOT of Chinese dramas, mostly from Hong Kong. My dad loved the historical-kung-fu-fictional dramas. So we watched a lot of stuff like "Duke of Mt. Deer" and "Legend of the Condor Heroes." (Those have been remade recently, but I haven't watched the remakes, so I don't know how good the newer versions are.) But I also watched a good amount of modern-day Chinese dramas, mostly from pre-2000 when I was still living at home with my parents.
If you're asking about Korean or Japanese dramas, then no and yes. I haven't watched any Korean dramas. But I've watched a few Japanese ones, like "Long Vacation" (loved the soundtrack), the first few episodes of "Orange Days" (need to finish it someday), and all of "GTO" with Takashi Sorimachi including the extra episodes/movie, which I loved.
I watched all of GTO in about 2 days. That should tell you how much I loved it! ^^; (I pretty much didn't sleep; I was that

I hope I didn't offend you with my question. :( I wasn't sure you had watched any since we became friends because of cosplay and Naruto and not because of Asian dramas like some of the other people on my flist. I knew you were Chinese, but I didn't know you were fluent in Cantonese. That's so cool
