I learned how to write my first official kanji today, which made me very excited. It's the kanji for "happy"/"happiness", and it's decently complex. Here it is: 幸 I'm going to be using it when I write my graduation cards for my 6th graders.

Congratulations!

Makes me think of a part in Uta no Onii-san where Kenta (Ohno's character) has to write the kanji for happiness but he doesn't know how. hehe.

Hee. :) It's going to blow my students' minds to see not just hiragana but kanji written in their cards. I love doing that to my students. :)

I don't blame him for forgetting kanji, especially when you're also having to remember stroke order. It does amuse me though that the kanji I now know is what he didn't know. :P

Go you!! Rock their world with Kanji! XD

It's really cute. He has to write it a whole bunch of times over in a book like a punished elementary school student.

Hee. Thanks. :) I will do my best to do that.

Well, practice make perfect. That does sound really cute. Let me know when the whole series is subbed, and I might give it a try.
