I'd double check on the Old Navy return policy. It's my understanding that if you order it online, since the larger sizes are only *available* online, you can return it to the store no problem. It may have changed, but I've done that before without any problems at all.

That used to be the policy, but they've changed it in the past six months or so. Now everything is "mail return only", which is why I was surprised that three of the sweaters didn't have that marked on the invoice. Very frustrating since if I hadn't lucked out this time, I would've been charged for the return postage for defective merchandise!

It may say that online, but they have always taken back my plus sized clothes in the store.

You know, I LOVE Old Navy for that reason. They don't make me feel like a COW for wearing anything larger than an XL. I mean, their sizes are GREAT. And Target too. Bless them for making sizes that feel right. I'm not a skinny girl by a long shot and really, getting ANYTHING to fit over my rack is a blessing.
YEY FOR GETTING MORE STUFF!!!!

KNITTING!! *thinks of all the unfinished projects at home*
FAIL. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!! They can get a little monotonous though....that's why usually I knit while watching movies. Gives my hands something to do other than stuffing my face.

*hug*

Indeed. I like that most of their selection is similar to what is offered in the main women's department. On the other hand, their sizing used to be so dependable (which is good when doing mail-order), but now it's too wonky. Many of the things I've ordered lately don't really fit properly - unless I've lost a lot of weight, and it sure doesn't look that way in the mirror! ;)

And yes, TV knitting is by far the best. Too bad I don't tend to choose monotonous projects!

2. My period is kinda freaking me out today. I've always had a very heavy flow, but today has been *insane*. Had to make way too many trips to the ladies' to, er, freshen up.

Welcome to my life for the past year! I never had problems and then I was bleeding through a tampon and a pad in an hour. Finally went to the doctor and found out I have a fibroid in my uterus, and have to have surgery next month. Fun fun.

Ugh, sounds familiar. I should probably go see a doctor about it, but that's rather scary. Guess I'll wait and see how things go next month. Sigh.

On the TMI front, I used to get ridiculously heavy periods until I was on the pill. Now it's basically 3 days of moderate flow, which is amaaaaaazing and a total relief. I also love the fact that I know *exactly* when I'm going to get it. I know they prescribe it for acne, so I wonder if a doctor would prescribe it to help manage periods?

And Seeeeeeeeeker. I love that show in all its cheesetastic glory. I also got sucked in because of the marathoning capabilities of Netflix Instant. It's just a fun show to watch casually, not take too seriously. And if you're interested, the fandom is pretty small and utterly cracktastic :D Lots of picspams and fluff fic. I think this is the shallowest fandom I have, I just watch it for all the pretty (scenery and actors).

I'd really like to start using the pill, but for various reasons it's not the best option for me. Sigh.

Cheesetastic glory is a great term for it. ;) Perfect for background viewing (since there ain't exactly a lot of depth there!) Then again, I've heard the second season is much darker, so maybe I'll get more into it then!

Aw, that's unfortunate. Hopefully there's another way to make it more tolerable.

It's darker but in the creepy way, not like BSG where it's all death and decay and the end of the world and everyone is drinking and sexxing their way out of misery. Season 2 is more like old horror movie dark - so far it's still shallow entertainment :D

Hmm. I don't see myself getting fannish about this one, but it's certainly fun to watch. ;)
