Arms and the iPod

May 01, 2008 21:16

Today I stimulated the U.S. economy (or just Costco's bottom line) with the purchase of an iPod. ( How I learned to love the 80GB hard drive and the video-playing feature. )

iPods are notorious for obliviating subfolders for music playlists, so it doesn't surprise me that it's not recognizing yours. :(

I don't mind so much with the music, but I had all my photos organized. Now? Not so much.

I think for a truly honest response to this poll, we need to get all three together for a live ogling comparison.

And they need to arm wrestle, obviously. Perhaps while shirtless.

Hmm. I think that is a truly excellent idea!

You need an iSkin to protect your iPod. :0) I love mine - I think it gives me a better grip on the thing, too. Depends if you like a grippy feel though (it does attract lint!). Or there are hard-shell cases out there if you prefer.

Ooh, they have one in green! I'm about to buy one, but the page says "eVo3 is NOT compatible with new iPods released September 2007." Then again, it also has "80gb" in the drop-down menu. I'm sure it will work with mine, but...?

BTW, do you remember what we'd brainstormed re: the Katie? My mind's gone blank. ;)

Hmm, not sure why incompatible - I got mine before that date. It might just be that newer models have switches in a different place, w/c is not insurmountable - you could probably just take a razor and cut a slit in the right place. But as you said, it will probably work with your unit.

Re: Katie, check your e-mail! :0)

Aha. Mr. Indi informs me that the Classic model is slimmer than the old versions. So if yours is a "Classic", the evo3 will not work. :0(

Maybe you can knit yourself a case?

ETA: Looks like they have a redesigned version for the Classic. Alas, no green!
