Resisting the urge to buy more yarn is a constant struggle. I've been making fingerless gloves (yes, I fell off the wagon) as gifts for friends, and I'm so tempted to head to the yarn store to buy more Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran or, even better, some Karabella Aurora 8 (and that name still makes me giggle for BSG-related reasons.) Unfortunately ( Read more... )

Ooh. I haven't a clue what to request, though. Femslash is always a good bet, but I'll just leave it up to you, since you probably know the kinds of things I like. Thanks so much!

Okay, will not be this evening, as I am exhausted and other things, but tomorrow! Tomorrow is another day! And story. Apparently.

Not quite femslash, but I've got some I'm working on. Jamie was just *insistent* that I pay attention to HIM.

The fingerless gloves are darling! And ohmifuckingawd! Bob Butler's e-mail to not only his colleagues, but his students as well is the most wanktastic thing I've seen all week! (And that includes the Snarry drawing that so offended LJ/6A!) Is the man NUTZ???

OMFG, that Butler e-mail was ...amazing. My jaw is still on the floor.

My favorite comment:

"It is very common for a woman to be drawn to men who remind them of their childhood abusers. Ted is such a man...

"And fuck you, Elizabeth, fuck you..." (wipes tears with sleeve while making sure office door is open for sexually available grad student)

Somehow I suspect this veers dangerously close to the truth...

The Butler e-mail and responses had me laughing out loud. I'd hate to think what he would have written had they not parted as friends.

I am similarly confused with regards to Jekyll. I loved it from the get-go and have pimped a number of people in already. I wrote meta-reactions for eps 1 to 5, but can't quite gather my thoughts on 6. Was it a twist of genius or pure insanity?
