I can see you. For now.

The last few days have been marked by eye problems. ( A long description of my potential - but unlikely - blindness. )

You don't use AMO contact solution, do you? Because there was a recall for a particular kind last week because of a fear of a potential infection caused by it.

Whatever it is, I hope it gets taken care of soon! *hugs*

Nope, I don't use that solution, but I did hear about the recall. I'm really hoping this clears up soon, too. Thanks for the support!

Ooh. I don't know that I'd be brave enough to attempt her recipes, but Orangette is *gorgeous* and very tempting. Thanks for the links!

IMO you've reached the point that you need to get a referral to an opthamologist, not just an optician. You need someone to run a battery of tests and really peer inside those eyes of yours. You need good vision in your line of work and you only get one pair of eyes.

As for cooking, there are sites like this and this that might tempt you. Or you could try and recreate your favorite takeout meals which would cost less and probably be better for you.

Good luck!

I agree: an opthamologist sounds like a better bet, and you can probably get a referral from your primary care doc and keep it under your health coverage instead of your eye coverage.

I also agree about recreating your favorite takeout meals. While some things are too involved for beginners, there's tons of stuff you can easily whip up at home.

Fortunately, Blue Cross covers ophthalmologists without a referral. I'm going to call tomorrow. :)

Dinner for one, huh? I'll have to bookmark that. And I hadn't even considered recreating my favorite takeout meals. Wouldn't work in every instance, but it's a very cool idea. Thanks!

As for my eyes... the weird thing is that, aside from the lack of focus, there's NOTHING else wrong. No redness, irritation, or dryness. The doctor even peered inside and couldn't find anything. I'm still going to see an ophthalmologist ASAP, just to be safe. If anything, it might simply be that I need a new prescription, but at least I'd have an answer!

Nope, it's not the contact lens solution, but I'm going to see a doctor just in case. :)
