I've been wanting to write some fill-in-the-blanks fic before whatever might happen in tonight's episode. I also wanted to get inside Kara and Dee's heads, to try and make sense of their marriages and all the complications in their lives. I'd love to see this actually happen. I don't think the show writers could even come close to this in sorting out the emotional mess of the quadrangle. You have all of their voices so clearly here.
It's beautiful.

I really like this. It is wistful and honest. I like how you deal with all the different facets of the different relationships. They all come off as real. It works very nicely.

Thanks! Y'know, "wisteria" originally came from a play on "wistful" (and because my first choice was taken back in 2001. ;) It's one of my favorite emotions to write, and I'm glad you liked this one.

Such a great way to sort things out, you paint it so believeably. I really still want to see Kara and Lee together, but it doesn't look good and this would be a realistic solution. Really well written, you captured all four of them really well. The scene with Kara and Dee in the bar was just about perfect.

Thank you! The bar scene was actually my first idea for the fic. I could them coming to a strange, quasi-detente, settling some issues and opening up others. :)
