Sometimes I'll get in these moods where I just HAVE to get or do something RIGHT NOW. Torchwood tonight, for example. Sure, I want to see it, but I'm more obsessed with getting it than actually watching it. I've been completely manic for the past hour and a half, and now I'm in "crash and burn" mode. Sigh. Oh, Sam. Sam. I love that, despite all the chaos, he has to stop and kiss the wife he'd (understandably) given up for dead
I *loved* that moment. I don't even ship them that much, but he just missed her so much and was so worried and then he finds her! Awwwww!

The Kara/Leoben kiss scene is hard to watch, in a very different way than some of the more violent scenes on the show have been (Sharon's near-rape, for example). I turned away when it happened but was surprised that I did - I certainly don't object to Kara/Leoben on conceptual or hotness levels. Well, maybe there was more of an objection after he knocked her out earlier in the ep.
I really, really want a Kara/Tigh drinking and bonding over how much New Caprica sucked scene.

Y'know, I didn't find the Kara/Leoben kiss all that "hot", perhaps because of the emotional violence you mention above. Another way that the scene is SO excellently played by both actors.

It hurts deep deep inside. The look on Tigh's face, and Adama turning back at him and his moment of glory being internally shattered for him.
ssiiigghhh.

But one thing I have seen left out of lots of people's recaps was not only how lost and devastated Kara and Tigh are on the hanger bay... but Tigh walks right by Gaeta. To me, him being all alone... really poignant after what he went through with Baltar.

I do like to think that Kara and Tigh will maintain their strange new friendship. RDM's pretty good at remembering characterization themes like that. (Knock on wood.)
