With luck, I'll be ready to post my 50-sentences Kara thingy tonight; I want to go do some writing on my favorite Starbucks patio, but I'm waiting until the heat and humidity aren't so terrible. In the meantime, more links -- these posts are lots of fun to do, and this one's gonna be long. ;)

Congradulations on the sockknitting! When you want to use nicer yarn, knitpicks.com has pretty good yarn for a very decent price.

"Life on Mars" is *very* cool. You'll love it.

Thank you! This stuff was only $1 per skein -- perfect for learning. I love Knitpicks, so I'll be checking them out later.

Oh, and regarding your Vox comment? Psst... ;)

...I've watched ALL of the 50 movies listed. Does that mean I can die now?

That is the most fascinating movie list. I counted and I've seen exactly 25 of those, but most of the ones that I've missed are ones that I *want* to see but haven't gotten around to yet.

I really liked how contemporary it was, even if they did leave off way too many recent movies. Plus, I spotted a few favorites. :)

9. With all the buzz about LJTalk -- I might try it eventually -- I'll point everyone to Trillian. It lets you use AIM, YIM, IRC, and ICQ in one handy messaging interface, with some fun plugins. I've been using the free Basic version for years, though I'll need a Pro upgrade for LJ Talk. Must ponder.

And if you're a Mac user, I recommend Adium, wich works the same way.

You're quite welcome. I think Orbital recorded it years ago, before the New Who renaissance, but it's fun to hear the cheers as they launch into the familiar theme. :)
