You can't go home again.

Damn, that goldderby.com Emmys message board is fascinating. It has reports from several people who attended the "blue ribbon committee" screenings this weekend, and we now know with near-certainty which shows were in the top ten. I'll cut-tag for those who want to be surprised on July 6th. ( Best Drama and Best Comedy finalists. )

tv - emmys, atlanta, texas, summer

"Booze Cruise" is pretty much one of the best episodes of television I have ever seen, so I cross my fingers that it goes over as well with the big wigs or whoever vote on the emmys. That's also not a bad episode of the West Wing, either.

I've been reading that GoldDerby thread too, even though while I'm doing it I keep thinking "Do I really want to know this? Cause these are like spoilers for the Emmy nominations. And we know how I feel about spoilers!" :)

Even though I don't want WW to get nominated, Election Day Pt 2 was an amazing hour of television. I'd like to see Bradley Whitford get nominated again (he never disappoints but he really stood out this year) but not the series.

The episode choices for Scrubs and The Office were excellent too. But Lost had some stronger ones than the one screened. Hilarious that people booed at Will & Grace, and hopefully that means its chances of getting nominated are slim.

I really hope 24 is one of the unknown shows in the top 10. I think this was it's best season ever.

It got booed?? Good! That stunk to high heaven. I hated it with a passion.

Since you mentioned Texas, I lived in West Texas for 3 years and loved it : ) There's a lot to love about Texas!

Aw, you're not going to be in Dallas for the weekend, are you? Because I'm going home for July 4.
