Laptop, Gilmore, and Veronica.

This household now consists of one human and three computers. Haven't quite reached hardcore geek level, but I'm getting there. The new Dell that the school bought me is surprisingly nice, and I've already downloaded Trillian, Firefox, and BSPlayer -- against regs! Ooh, I'm such a rebel. Two major downsides, though: 1) the widescreen display ( Read more... )

I adored it. It's not often I'm totally off when I predict the ending ofa stry bt then when I reflected it made total sense.

Poor Weevil. I think everyone's gonna forget all about what is arrest during graduation with all the major mind blowing things that happened.

Oh wow. I love the way you sum up the Keith dying thing. I was trying to explain it, but I couldn't. I may have to steal your words...

And I loved the ep so much (I've already watched it twice), so if no one else does, I can pull a Cassidy on them and blow them all up...

I know what you mean, I'm very easy to please as well. I thought it was a great episode!

I liked it--but didn't love it--for pretty much the same reasons you did. Would have liked to see Cassidy a little more tortured and a little less sociopathic. The rape of Veronica? Just too goddamn much.

I liked this episode a ton - I thought the pacing was amazing, and though I've been squeeing at the Mac/Cassidy scenes all season, I always thought something was creepy about him.

One thing I did like, which I'm sure everyone else will be pissed about: Veronica is actually a rape victim again. It was such a defining characteristic of her personality in Season 1, that sense of holding everyone away to forestall any further violation, that it was awkward, and very unbelievable for me when it was taken away so completely, even if the outcome was more pleasant that the truth we know now. In a way, she is more settled now than has been since we met her. She knows the truth about the rape, Aaron is dead - AWESOME and a little sad - and she can now move on.

I haven't gotten to see any eps since the first two of season one becuase I was hijacked to the back of beyond but your right about her knowing the truth. At first all she knew was that she was raped and that is was someone she knew but she didn't know who (and every time she went to school she had to wonder if he was there) and without that there could be no justice. Now she knows what happened and the bad guy went splat. Definite closure.

I actually liked it too, because the total unclarity of the "I consented but don't remember" thing was just...weird.
