I tivoed the VMAs, but I almost missed the Hunger Games promo because -- of course -- it was literally two minutes after my recording ended. Fortunately, it was available on my buffer.

A few of my friends were disappointed in how little the teaser showed, but I thought it set a great tone for the film. I also loved that we got to hear a bit of the soundtrack and at the very end we hear Rue's 4 note signal.

I'm so excited for this movie! (and hope we get more fix from you as well) :)

Thanks so much for sharing this - I totally reposted it to spread the good word. :0P I have friends and family that have never heard of the book or movie (except my obnoxious oversharing about it), and I keep waiting for the day when the movie gets famous enough that they can't help but admit that yes, it's famous and amazing and they shouldn't have doubted me. ::waits and waits::

I thought it was great, and I was SO glad they showed Katniss being a total badass and that the Peeta voiceover (which...I am on the fence about the acting there) was about how badass she is, not how in lurve she should be.

Yeah, I listened again, and all the stuff about her being a hunter and stuff, yeah, that has to be Gale.

I couldn't remember who said it in the book, but I just assumed it was Gale when I saw the promo.

It just seems more like a thing Gale would say.

I still like the fanmade trailer better, even though I loved Jennifer in Winter's Bone.

I think the whistle was the coolest part! I will watch the movie no matter how it is. :-)
