Okay, yes, I meant to write this update a while ago. Right after I posted the flower meme as a matter of fact. RL conspires against us all too often, though, so this is the first chance I've gotten.

nightwolfwriter and I invited some people to the house and had a "Firefly" party this past Saturday. While we were at it, we got the barbecue season off to a really good start. ;-)

My daughter and I and a few moms and girls from her girl scout troop went to a Self Defense seminar yesterday. It was a fundraiser for Fidos for Freedom fundraiser. My, how times have changed.

I used to fill my daughter's basket with candy, a few toys or trinkets and a little duck or rabbit plushie.

This year, I kept the chocolate, but replaced the toys with a lime green iConnect Speaker Pillow. Oh, well. At least the chocolate stayed the same ( Read more... )
