nightwolfwriter and I took the daughter unit to the Renfest today. The weekend is Octoberfest, and she's supposed to get extra credit in her German class for being exposed to things German so today seemed like a good day to go.

Seemed being the operative word there. ;-)

Wow, now I really wish money matters had let me go. I'd been planning on going to the RenFest this weekend! My mom was there, anyway. Who knows if I'd have recognised you (I've seen... one picture of you? con-costumed, I think) but it'd have been fun playing "try to spot the wish". LOL

I'm glad you and your fam got to go and all had a good time. Traffic on the roads there is pretty much *always* bad, but your experience is unusually so! Faire is so much fun!

Hi! Yeah, traffic is usually a drag but this was insane. I think we might have gotten caught in afternoon traffic once long ago. Since then, we've made it a point to get there when the show opens. Yesterday I forgot to reschedule my daughter's vision therapy appointment, so there you go.

I'm actually a rather unremarkable sort of person who doesn't stand out in a crowd. ;-) Since this trip wasn't all that great (in spite of our new goodies) nightwolfwriter and I talked about going back on on the 21st to see the Mediaeval Babes. If you're planning on going out before it closes for the season, maybe we could hook up and say hello!
