I got my computer back from the shop yesterday, complete with shiny new cords. I plugged it in and it started doing the same darn thing again. *headdesk* However, this time I did get a few error messages, and one seemed to imply that I was missing a piece of Windows ( Read more... )

I've been reading (and re-reading, I love it) Realizations since I found it a while back. As a note of support for being able to cut that scene you love, you can always put it in the 'extras' or 'snippets' section in the Yahoo Group. That way it can be "out there", you don't have to feel like you've wasted the scene, (we readers get to read it!) and maybe that can get you to a point creatively to continue writing. Good luck!

I've thought about putting "aborted" chapters/scenes up on my group for academic purposes, but haven't. It seemed, I don't know, silly, I guess. ;-)

I look at it the same way I look at DVD extras - cool to see a little bit of the process, but not a disappointment if it's not there. :D
