My daughter has had a rough time of school. We found out when she was in third grade that she had ADHD and some accompanying issues, mainly pediatric anxiety and underdeveloped fine motor skills. As a previous... hmmm, target of bullying (ie they tried but rarely succeeded) in school, I can agree that a new environment can help, but it would be important for her to learn methods of behaviour that give her more self-confidence and assertiveness skills before that ( ... )

Thanks for the reply. It's always nice to realize you aren't as alone as you might think you are. ;-)

I think the first hurdle will be getting my daughter back in school. Right now all she can see is the bad. We were accepted at another facility today, so I hope the change of scene will be beneficial.
