Ah - I wish the trip to New York was as good as it should be... could be...
Unfortunately, I will have to at least partially miss Fantasycon, I can't go to see Milton Jones - these are things that were all booked and paid for in advance. And I'm not sure how I will be able to afford to eat while I'm there, as everything needs to be expensed back. Trying to be as enthusiastic and optimistic as possible, but it is adding to the stress a bit at the mo.
Never mind, these things usually work themselves out, I do think!
I can see that would be stressful. And what a pain about Fantasycon and Milton Jones. I hope it goes as well as possible -- you can eat pretty cheaply in NY, at least -- diners and such are usually very good value and let you take leftovers home with you, and hotels don't mind if you bring food back.
