I like the idea of HYDRA going after wizards on a more individual basis even after Project Insight was taken down. I also like seeing how much apparent overkill they brought against Harry, and how it proved to be not nearly enough kill in the event, even before Natasha got involved.
Harry's ignorance of the SHIELD files makes perfect sense -- it would be very hard for him to manage an internet connection long enough to download and search through them, and the sheer amount of data is prohibitive to print and read that way. Comparing HYDRA's training programs (also breeding programs, perhaps?) to that White Court plot also makes a lot of sense, and I have a feeling the White Council is not going to be happy with what Harry and Carlos discover if they investigate a little.
Thank you very much!

These universes do require a lot of mental gymnastics to cross successfully, but the HYDRA thing worked for that really well. Thanks for the prompt!

I hadn't yet decided when I wrote this bit whether or not Coulson was In The Know. Or even - now that I think about it - that he wasn't before, but given the way he was resurrected, he has magic NOW, which would derail Agents of SHIELD in lots of interesting and fun ways, I think. Hm.... I guess we'll see if it ends up on the list again this year. :)
Glad you enjoyed the story! And the titles - it just seemed so perfect for the first one, so I decided to keep with the theme. And lo, there was another perfect title lurking in there for this story!

Hydra going after Harry(and those like him) makes a scary sorta sense. It's good that he's thinking of circling the wagons rather than fleeing. Which is to be expected from him since he's never been known to run from a fight - even when he probably should. ;)
Wonderful job of meshing these two series!
