Nice story - nice to see Harry getting a chance to relax, even if it does get interrupted.

Glad you enjoyed the story! Harry is so stressed and strung out most of the time in the novels; I know it serves Plot Purposes, but it also makes me want to write lots of fixits.

I'm not at all familiar with the events your layering through this ficlet (I'm only up to book five), but I'm still greatly enjoying this series.

I might be partial to the friendship forming between Buffy and Murphy and for some reason I now really want read a story about the shenanigans those two could get into. :)

:) I think Murphy needs a magic-aware friend who's already been through the worst times and come out the other side as much as Harry does, in some ways. Having almost no one to go to kind of wears on a person - one of the realistic things about the later canon that makes me wince in sympathy every time I reread.
