I don't know the Sleepy Hollow TV series but I liked this - maybe they can found a self-help group for temporal exiles.

I can't believe there wasn't a tag for 'temporal exiles' on AO3 already - I've created it for this story. :) Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite not knowing half the canon. The TV show is very cheesy, but surprisingly fun.

Thank you. I know whatever you'd right would be glorious and it was. I liked that Steve was able to figure out what Crane was trying to say before he had to come out and say it. And Steve having a better explanation of the internet than Miss Mills. Oh and the conversation about faith at the end.

:) I'm glad you liked it! Of course I went for the crossover option, even if Steve isn't my absofavorite MCU character; he still has his own degrees of awesomeness, and it made for an interesting conversation. And - I definitely think faith would be one issue they would bond on that most of their coworkers wouldn't understand to the same degree.

Aw, Steve. I love the sense of isolation in the middle of all the noise that you've given both of them here, all the little things we don't really think of, like how much noisier everything is.

And your Ichabod voice is wonderful!

:) Thanks! I really wasn't expecting much out of another FOX show, but Ichabod has been unexpectedly delightful. I wonder a lot more about his time displacement issues, though, than I think the show runners do!

Tom Mison really does a fantastic job as the lead male character. I was iffy about the show at first, but I kept watching because he made me believe he could actually be Ichabod Crane. It's a little silly at times, but highly enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously. :)

I totally agree - if they'd chosen anyone else to play him, I don't think it'd have worked nearly as well!

The show tries pretty hard to be practically every genre at once, and totally commits to it, which takes it past silly-at-times into pure awesome. It probably helps that Season 1 was always intended to be a 13-episode run, so they didn't bother including any padding in their rush to cram a full-length season's plot in. We'll see if that holds up when they get to Season 2, but even if it doesn't, it's been a lot of fun so far.

Glad you enjoyed the story!

Holy mother of awesome! This is fantastic!

I would have never thought of bringing these two fellas together (props to maevebran) and you did such a fabulous job with it. Crane is such an elegant character and you captured his charisma and charm and then you meshed it with Steve's sweetness.

It's really kind of perfect. Thank you for sharing!

:) Thank you! I've been really flattered by the response to this story.

maevebran told me I could do Ichabod vs modern technology for her, or else this crossover; and of course as this is me ...
