This is so wonderful! Fusco's inner snarking is pure gold, and I love his comparisons of Abbie and Ichabod to the people he knows in NYC. Of course, now I want to know what exactly Finch and Reese had that needed to be delivered to Corbin (also the idea of Jenny meeting Team Machine is making me want that fic so much!).

I have a whole lot of headcanon about the Machine having trouble parsing the illogical influence of the supernatural, and Finch gathering information on a certain class of bizarre premeditated crime the Machine seems unable to predict, and running across a man who already collects that data .... etc. But Fusco wouldn't know about any of that, so I had to leave the details out, alas. :)

Talk about your mixed blessings; meeting Reese is either the best thing that ever happened to him, or the worst, but there's not much middle ground on a day to day basis. :)

:) I hadn't intended to put that bit in there when I started writing, but the more I thought about what the pair would look like to Lionel, the more the comparison stood out to me.
