i finally decided to "officially" call myself a vegetarian. here's hoping i stick with it. one more reason to get my ass out of medical research and into healthcare. i can't handle staring those sad little mice in their beady little eyes anymore :(

thanks! i've been steadily decreasing my meat consumption for a while now and have always mostly eaten fish (i'm pretty sure fish will be the only thing i might relapse on from time to time :/) but the other day i was watching tv and they had this ad for charlotte's web where they are explaining to wilbur that his owner's are going to fatten him up to eat him and he exclaims "i want to live!" and i burst into tears :( i know i could never go vegan because i love eggs, but at least it's an improvement! i really want to have my own backyard chickens one day so i can rest more easily knowing that my eggs are coming from happy chickens!
