In general, I do read them in order, otherwise I'm likely to forget what's happening in the series. In the case of The Hunger Games, I just couldn't put them down. With the Song of Ice and Fire series (Game of Thrones, etc). I'm glad there aren't more out I haven't read because I need a break from them. He has too many characters and I'm tired of bad things always happening to them.

My favorite Christopher Moore book is A Dirty Job.
