Oh my god, that's totally ridiculous. I can't believe we were at same show and didn't even know! DUDE.
This post sums up what I tried to say much better than I ever could. I think I said it so simply because I'm trying not to get too emotional about it, haha. I don't care about Panic as much as a lot of other people do, but I've been really scared for what's going to happen to fandom. I guess when I think about it logically, the people that I love the most are people that I know will still be around after these bands come and go. But the Panic fandom in particular has always been such a big concentration of importance for me, man this whole think is pretty terrifying.
Now we know to post upcoming concert events! Are you going to Cobra in Orlando?
It's like, I was more emotional than I thought I would be about it all so I had to sit and think about what was I really that upset about. And it wasn't fully about panic, the band, breaking up. Yes, I will miss what I hoped was going to happen but if this was what needed to happen to get more music, then so be it.
Missing fandom makes me more upset. Whenever I get cut off from the internet I don't think 'wow, I'm missing out on all the panic updates. I wonder what Spencer is tweeting right now'; I miss my flist and those posts.
Some people I really like are taking a step back but I really hope the core stays around.
*hugs* I'm glad you're staying. Every time I see another person deciding to step back for a while or permanently, it makes me so sad. I understand it, but still... so sad.

Even if it was a show that brought you to a fandom, the show brings you, but the people make you stay.
They will still make music, maybe not all together, but they will, I say enjoy the offerings they bring because Music is a gift.

I'm still sad over it but if I lose most of my flist, that would make me even more sad.

I had to do this here before I kept on leaving long comments on other journals.
