Usually I exist in a state of ambivalence towards people, so I generally didn't think of Amanda Palmer that much besides liking what I heard of/about her (and can anyone not like that pic with her shirt saying 'lick my legs'?). But I have to say that this issue with her video and her record company is so ridiculously horrible and now I want to go

"Dance, dance, we're falling apart to halftime
Dance, dance, and these are the lives you'd love to lead
Dance, this is the way they'd love
If they knew how misery loved me"
I have serious trouble making out all the cameo parts in that song!

I SAW AMANDA LIVE ON SATURDAY, GO BUY HER ALBUM OMG IT'S AMAZIIIING ROADRUNNER DOESN'T HAVE SHIT ON HER. D:<
Also, I can't hear Brendon in I Don't Care, either. Everybody else, fine, but not him. o.O
Pretty. Odd. flopped? Huh, I didn't know that. Bizarre; I adored it, and it's much more fun than Fever, especially with the epic scavenger hunt!
(eee, love that meme!)

I really need to pick up Amanda's album; I can't believe you saw her live---that is so great.
I can hear him, he sounds sort of screechy to me so that makes his part sound sort of incoherent.
Well....Pretty.Odd. did not sell as well as AFYCSO, but it did still sell well. FBR head even said he felt that PATD sold well enough for an alternative band, and they did. They opened up at number 2, and I think they have a solid fanbase. Solid enough that I can't find a copy of Live in Chicago :( No, they have not sold as well as their original, but I think it will sell okay in the long run. Besides, PATD is not the hottest teen sensation they were in '05; so I think it is a solid effort. They are not a pop act, they just happened to sell gigantic numbers with their debut album.
I adore this meme.

Oh, oh, you really do! It was so amazing, she had this team of dancers with her-- the Danger Ensemble-- and they really added to the show.
Ahaha. xD Oh well.
Definitely... I mean, I don't think anything they'll ever do will equal the epic they achieved with Fever, especially since they really toned down their stage act and that's what really brought some attention in on them. It's interesting to see how different their fanbase is than what it was back when Fever came out. I still think it's a little bizarre that you can't find their live DVD... o.O I mean, almost NO-ONE (at least in my area) know about the Dresden Dolls, much less Amanda Palmer, and I was still able to pick up her solo album at a Best Buy.
