ICE DAY!

Feb 01, 2011 19:13

I suppose technically it is a snow day, since the snow has been falling all day (sideways; thank you, wind), but it was called yesterday afternoon in the midst of all the freezing rain, and earlier this morning I could see the ice lurking under the snow. So however you define it, I am glad not to be out there. Even if I barely have any milk left ( Read more... )

Ixnay on house cleaning....in order for it to truly qualify as a snow/ice day one must reside in PJs emerging only to move the car for the plow/ice chipper. ;)

PS. I am not good at memes, so will go to watch NCIS now. *hugs*

I will only clean if I get incredibly bored. And/or a massive headache from spending far too much time on the computer.

Hopefully neither of those things happened. ;)

The boredom sort of did--or maybe it was guilt, it's hard to tell--so I cleaned bathrooms and swept & mopped the kitchen floor. Hey! It only took an hour away from slacking off!

*giggles happily at #4 and #9, just because*

I love both Rays; the dynamic they each have with Fraser is so vastly different. At some point I might ramble about that.

I don't really know the other fandoms too well enough to draw comparisons, though.

Yes! So completely and utterly different! I was a bit shocked, rewatching, how fast Fraser latched onto RayK, but it was utterly fascinating too. I really need to finish my rewatch so I can see the last episode with all three of them in the same room; I don't think I've seen that episode in over ten years.

I feel the opposite to you about Ray V and Ray K, I think?

I feel like Ray K as a separate entity interested me more precisely because he sort of had no idea who he was, but by the end I felt confident in Ray V having figured himself out. I know I preferred the show as a whole when it was the RayV and Fraser friendship show, but series 3 & 4 had more stand out, 'wow' moments.

Mmm. Not strictly opposite, just, different. I looooved what David Marciano turned Ray V into. (There's no doubt in my mind he was instrumental to him being as well developed as he was.)

Also, DARIEN. Oh, man. I loved that show when I was younger.

I loved Ray V too--so much more complex than he could have been (and yes, I agree aout David Marciano's influence there), and I think that's why I could list him as my singular favorite character from the show.

Ray K's relationship with Fraser is what's fascinating me now, not Ray K by himself--and again, moreso because of the way Fraser reacts to him and around him, which is so very different from his actions around Ray V. I dunno, the slashiness jumps out more to me, on Fraser's part at least, almost immediately.

Oh, I-Man got me through my first year of college, it really did.
