I'm a big fan of also having a land line. Seeing people enjoying the Droid Incredible which looks very cool. But I may hold hold for an iPhone and keep my Blackberry going until then. Hmm..am undecided so therefore not much help to you. ;)

And oooh, Bavarian forest for the win! This brings back some great memories from another lifetime ago. You are going to have a blast!

PS.Sorry about the memory card annoyance. ack.

PPS. There are multiple people in my life getting new phones in the past several days. This is making me confused as to which person got what and when. Heh. And yes, I should wait until I'm actually awake before commenting on a post. Then I won't have to come back a zillion times to edit.

What do you think of your Blackberry? That might be an option too...I'm not sure my carrier would provide the Droid, and I'm kinda stuck with the carrier. Unless my mom & I get separate plans? Oy, too much to think about this early in the day.

I just know we're going to have so much fun. Bavarian Forest is the last thing we're going to do together before my friend flies back & I spend a few days in Munich--this is after we hang out along the Romantic Road and see ALL OF KING LUDWIG'S CASTLES. Because I'm insistent upon that. And go to Salzburg. Eeee!

Really, I shouldn't allow myself to comment on this post yet. Ah well. :)

Hee! You were safe...had to go to work and can't access LJ from there. ;)

As for the Blackberry. I love it. Part of my problem is I like the function of it as much as the iPhone. Can't decide between all touch and keyboard. Granted, the screen is much smaller, but all my tech friends say it's currently got better security for sites that you log into. I will probably get the iPhone when it gets to my cell phone provider in 2012. But currently I don't mind carrying the touch and the blackberry.

I'm hearing good things about the Droid though...gah, I will be as indecisive about this as I am about what new laptop to get. Which means both the phones and the laptop better last a looooong time.

I rode a horse in the Black Forest once. Long story short, it was not a well behaved beast. And that is so cool that you're going to see the castles. Lots and lots of photos please. *smoooch*

Does the Blackberry have any touch functionality? I haven't even played with one really, as you can probably tell...

I will not be riding any horses! I can pretty much guarantee that, since I've never ridden one at all. :p I will hopefully be able to take lots and lots of photos; it all depends on if I ordered the right memory card adapter for my NOT ALL THAT ANCIENT digital camera. Okay, 5 years is probably ancient for digital technology, whatever.
