Yes. Yes, you should have known. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING. *g*

Clearly, I wasn't. Or at least, I was thinking "I haven't bought a new pair of shoes in months! And they're buy one, get one 1/2 off! And they're already cheap!"

Sigh. ;p

I guess in the right combination and the right shade, brown and pink do go...

They're really quite cute together. But I don't wear pink. Okay, I do, but not often enough to warrant owning a pair of shoes with pink in them.

Whatever, they're comfortable and cheap!

Oooh! I can't write these days, but I'd love to read a drabble. Could you write one with Nine and a Weevil?

Not Nine/Weevil unless you reeeeally want to because that would be weird

Okay, that was kinda a really cool prompt. And here's my response! Hope you like it. :)

(No worries, no Nine/Weevil because even I couldn't go there)

It's a holdover from my childhood. My mom was blonde as a kid, so her mom always made her wear blue (and she wanted to wear pink); I have always been brown-haired, so my mom always wanted me to wear pink, and I...wanted to wear black.

I guess she's getting her wish now?

Oooo. See, that makes sense. I was always a fan of bright colors.

I prefer darker colors now.

And I've taken to wearing more variety of colors, including, yes, pink.

Heh...Fuzzy Pink Anubis indeed. :)

Although I'm not a person who wears pink, I do believe it goes quite well with brown.

I'm in agreement about a quiet night at home with beverage and show of choice.

PS. I brought socks with stripes on them yesterday. Not really a tangent as I was reminded by the geek icons.

Pink & brown do go very well together. As do red, but I didn't see any comfortable red shoes. :)

Hee! I almost bought funky socks when i was getting the shoes, but then I decided I didn't need them and I'd spent enough. Really.

Maybe in the Fall collections then? ;)

Funky sock, one can never have too many of those. Of course, definition of funky varies. In my case it usually means black or brown ones.
