That's the first Tom/Martha fic I've read, and I'd go so far as to say it was one of the sweetest fics I've ever read (regardless of pairing).

I'm really happy that the first Tom/Martha story I've read is so good. The way Martha needs Tom to remind her of everything that is normal because she's still haunted by the Year That Never Was feels very natural. Of course she would still be recovering, it was a whole year. And I love how understanding Tom is of that, how he wants to give her that shoulder to cry on, be her strength. And the last line is amazing. THANK YOU. <3

I second the sentiments of sea_thoughts. My first Tom/Martha fic, and it is amazing. I like how the idea of the smells and scents associated with the Year that Never Was as opposed to those associated with "home" is used as a linking device throughout. I love the language, too - it all feels so real! So yes, a beautiful fic and one I'm glad I read despite it not being my usual pairing of choice.

GUH! Yeah, that's what i've got to say on the matter, guh!
I LOVE this one so bloody much! (sniffles) only you, could write something this...comfortable/sniffly/happy/sweet/awesome/beautiful/ wonderful for shippers like myself. watch out, i may demand more! (wink)
