[You know Goroh, he never needs a reason to be anywhere. And today's one of those days. Eventually along his walk, he'll find Raine busy gardening. Well, isn't that something. He finds a tree to lean up against and watch. Maybe light up a cigarette while he's at it. He won't actually bother to make his presence known, though.]

[It's getting colder, but the plants are still surviving. Some of the herbs are due for harvesting, so she's taking care of that, putting them into a small basket for now. Probably using some earth spirit magic on the other plants as well. She'll be caught up in this for a little while. Eventually the feeling of being watched will set in though, causing her to look around.]

[He hasn't worked his way through the entire cigarette yet, so he hasn't moved. When she looks his way, he just gives a casual wave, as if there's nothing weird about him watching her like this.]

Well then. Her eyes widen slightly in surprise, before narrowing slightly. She's still not wearing her usual orange robe, though she has a green coat as a substitute.]

... Goroh.

[She wasn't really intending to land. Arche flies all over Luceti, plenty of times over people's houses, even people she knows, and doesn't bother to flit down and say hi.

But as she happens to glance down and see Raine under the tree, well... she's not doing anything better. She alters her course and angles straight for her.]

[Raine looks up from her journal when Arche approaches, closing it carefully.] Hello, Arche. Everything all right?

[She shrugs.] Nothing to complain about aside from boredom. What about you?

[wise_maiden]

Everything's... fine enough, for now. I'm just between errands. It won't be long before the weather starts getting colder for more than a few days at a time.

[pimpinwings]

[It was just one of those days, and Zelos found himself trotting around town aimlessly. When he passes by house 42 to see Raine sitting under the tree, he figures, "why the hell not?".

So here, Raine. Have a Chosen plopping down under the tree near you.]

... I didn't expect to see you around here, Zelos.

Felt a little restless, thought I'd take a walk, not that it helped any.

Just as long as your wandering feet return you to the clinic at some point, so that Sheena doesn't make any escape attempts before she's ready.

[Your neighbour, one Merlin form house 40, is struggling to carry at least twice his capacity in grocery bags up his step. He'll fall over if he tries anything more.

So, surreptitiously, he relaxes his shoulders and begins to work a bit of sorcery. Arthur is out, so he shouldn't be seen. First one, then two, then more bags float themselves gently out of his arms and onto the porch--neatly next to the door.

Arms free, he claps his hands together--satisfied in his work--but only belatedly notices Raine outside as well. Guilt flashes over his face. Did she see?]

[Raine had been about to ask the young man if he needed assistance... but he seemed to have the situation under control. So she offers a polite wave to him, instead. It's not too often that she sees her immediate neighbors like this.]

[Merlin smiles--awkwardly--and waves back. Then, remembering one of his duties given to him by Arthur he leaves the groceries on the step and walks over to the woman.]

Err--hello. I'm Merlin. I guess it's about time I introduced myself.

There's never really a time like the present. My name is Raine.

[Raine may be resting under a tree, but if she's paying attention she'll notice Yuan approaching beforehand. He's limping slightly. Under normal circumstances he would've stayed inside until he's healed, but he wanted to discuss his findings with Raine and something like that needs to be done in person.]

[She's a little distracted, but an approach of Yuan doesn't go unnoticed. That limp is especially telling.]

[Once he's reached Raine, he's just going to sit down next to her without waiting for an invitation . He really shouldn't be straining himself too much anyway.]

... You're hurt. [She'll just head right in with stating the obvious. She was at the clinic earlier, after all.]
