[Action]

[Raine is taking a walk in the town instead of the forest like she had been recently. It's been a while since she's really been seen around -- weeks, really. She seems distracted, and ever so often will pause to rub at her temples.]

[Gelda's been out and about a lot herself. Some part of her is hoping that she'll happen across Regal while she's out, but she knows the chances of encountering him are pretty slim. There's no telling when or where the Malnosso will return him.

Even so, it's a perfect opportunity to approach her fellow Professor, who seems to once again be having trouble with her health. Have you been pushing yourself again, Raine?]

Good afternoon, Raine.

[The voice is familiar, probably because it sounds so similar to her own, and the face as well. No name... she should have expected that. There was a connection, though, that linked them; Raine could tell that much from the familiar way the woman greeted her.]

Ah... good afternoon.

[Gelda is completely oblivious to Raine's memory trouble. She's under the assumption Raine's been stressing over something again.]

How are you today?

[Which makes sense, given the memory thing wasn't publicized in the least, even though it's been a while.]

... Well enough, I suppose. And yourself?

-Leave it to Patchouli, whom Raine happened to pass, to make and speak unwarranted observations-

They make medicines for that, you know.

... Hm? [She briefly studies the girl's face, but can't draw any recognition from it yet.] It isn't much of a help.

They also have spells for it, most likely.

Perhaps so, but I'm sure it will go away on it's own.

Hey, Raine.

Hm? Ah... hello.

[Raine carefully studies the other woman for a moment; recognizing her face and voice from a few memories to have that familiarity.]

Not... entirely, I'm afraid.

[busy child is busy, especially with his new kitten at the house so he'll be running around town grabbing stuff but it's a RAINE, and we ENJOY Raine.] Hey!

[--Another familiar face and voice, not really knowing them is starting to get frustrating. A... student, perhaps? She isn't sure.]

Ah, hello...!

Are you doing better, Raine?

I'm... doing better than I was, yes. [It's not entirely a lie, but she's not sure how to even bring up the truth in the face of a child.]

You seem like you must be busy today.

Hm? [She studies him for a moment, having difficulty placing him, as he is not as predominant in her memories as the others.] Ah -- I'm fine enough, I suppose.

[She shakes her head a little] No, I'm sure I would have known it. I've just been having some difficulties with my memory recently.
