There was an incident a few weeks ago in which several people became ... compromised, so to speak. The Malnosso thought it best to kill a few of those affected since the general populace refused to turn on one another.

In any case, it's not what would have been considered an ordinary occurrence here.

I see. Brutal tactics, I'm afraid to say I know such actions well. It was not one of those "experiments" I've been told about, if what I'm gathering from this conversation is correct.
