We haven't really done much past what you've already done. Got some doors open, picked up some of those weird files, moved on. As far as supplies and morale go, I think we'll live.

How far do you think this thing goes?

We've already had to send a runner back just to ensure that we had enough. Considering the tunnel seems to pass under the forest and through the village, it's likely it will be another day, perhaps even longer. Our diminished strength down here doesn't help much in that regard either.

No kidding. It's aggravating, but we've got no choice but to deal with it until we get out of here.

It's just a little ... weird. You'd think there'd be something down here, guarding this area. Maybe they figured just the feeling of weakness would be enough to make us stay back.

The lack of anything like that down here just makes the situation even more suspicious. The "surprise" is probably going to be waiting for us at the end of it. Stay on your guard.

I agree. There's no reason for the kids to suffer or be neglected because of what the Malnosso are doing.

Unfortunately.

There were papers in the rooms. They seem to be highly detailed, but... coded. By their design, they seem to be notes on everyone here.

Coded... Yes, that would only make sense. But if you have complete files, it may be possible to decipher them.

How detailed would you estimate them to be?

Some files seem to be considerably longer than others. At this stage, I cannot say anything for certain, however.
