[I'm sure I'm frelling up the timelines, but I just wrote X-Men, so...]
Hee hee. That's an awesome explanation.
I love the Xmen/Serenity crossover, and am having fun imagining the Kaylee/Hank interaction, too. Is Scott leaning over Kaylee's shoulder giving advice about the machines?
And yes! I imagine Scott and Mal are both carefully watching the engineers, and looking at each other warily, and giving Helpful Advice, and Kaylee's all rolling her eyes at Mal for the over-protectiveness, and various other things. Yay! (Of all these little snippets, that one was the most fun to write. *g*)
(...)and then Fred comes over to him and starts flirting but he doesn't get it and she's his grad student and then she kisses him. YAY. And then they done sex. I giggle/squeee'd so loud, my new roommates think I'm insane. Priceless.
House and Giles. Now why didn't I think of that? So. much. love. And Weir and Cuddy. Brilliant. And well, the rest. Especially the X-men one.
And I really need to get back to my phonetics presentation, damn.
Yay! Thanks for your request; it was fun. Dana and Cuddy are so different in some ways, but I think they should have sex anyhow would get along okay in the end.
I've never seen SGA, but I adored the Elizabeth Weir/Lisa Cuddy one. Also Giles-House is pure win. (I've thought so ever since I noticed House never invites people in, just moves aside the same way Giles does. You gave a good explanation for how they met.)
7. Toby Ziegler and Nikki Wood - [I'm sure I'm frelling up the timelines, but I just wrote X-Men, so...]
*laughs* Yeah, you got the timelines wrong, but no worries, this was cute too!
(Actually, Nikki and Toby would have been around the same age, both from poor neighbourhoods, both minorities, in a time when New York City struggled for civil liberties. There's a whole backstory in my head, but I shouldn't expect you to know it. *g*)
Heh. I can't do mental math at 10:20 in the morning when I have to be out the door at 10:30. Yikes! But that's an interesting connection. Nifty! (Fandom's collective brain is so shiny.)

And what a neat connection; I'd never noticed that. Clearly, AUs about House's demon-hunting youth need to be written!
